Hello, I believe that instead of building the application from scratch, you should look at some existing software which are proven being stable. You should take a look at ArcView 3.x and add the ArcView Network Analyst Extension, or just purchase ArcGIS 8.2 which has embedded network analysis functions. Both software are developed by ESRI (www.esri.com for more information). I would advise you to get those software running and spend more time doing programming on something else.
