Information Stored on Your Device
EggDrop may store the following information locally on your device using Android app storage:
- Game settings, such as music volume, sound effects volume, vibration preference, visual options, and tutorial progress.
- High scores, including a 3-letter arcade-style name you enter, score, level reached, and selected character.
- Gameplay statistics, such as eggs caught, golden eggs caught, trucks called, best streak, and games played.
This information is used only to provide game features such as leaderboards, achievements, and saved preferences.
Information We Do Not Collect
EggDrop does not collect or receive from you:
- Name, email address, phone number, or mailing address
- Precise location
- Contacts, photos, files, or messages
- Payment information
- Advertising identifiers for targeted advertising
Permissions
EggDrop may request the following permission:
- Vibrate — used for optional haptic feedback during gameplay when enabled in settings.
EggDrop does not request internet access for core gameplay.
Device Backup
If Android backup is enabled on your device, locally stored app data may be included in your device or Google account backup according to your device settings. We do not control how backup providers store or restore that data.
Children’s Privacy
EggDrop is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. Because the app stores only local gameplay data and optional 3-letter high-score initials, no account registration is required.
Third-Party Services
EggDrop does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social login services within the app. Google Play may process information related to app downloads, updates, and purchases according to Google’s own policies.
Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling EggDrop.
